The 23ZERO Armadillo Horizon 3 is a fully welded, 14-gauge aluminum hardshell rooftop tent built to sleep three — a genuine step up from earlier Armadillo models, not just a bigger version of one. A gas-strut-assisted hinge pops the shell open in seconds, with a built-in rain hoop replacing old-style rainfly poles for faster, simpler weather protection.
Inside, oversized windows on every side (plus a 36" x 22" skylight) open the cabin to 360° views and real airflow, all backed by bug mesh and weather canopies. A self-inflating mattress with dual fill ports keeps setup effortless, while proprietary light-suppression fabric keeps the interior cooler and darker for real sleep, even on bright mornings. A 59" LED light bar, heater/cooler port, and pre-wired Anderson power plug turn this tent into genuine camp infrastructure — not just a place to crash.
Built-in storage (gear loft, bedside pockets, boot bag, hanging organizer) keeps gear off the floor, and dual T-slot roof rails add 22 lbs of external mounting capacity. Ships complete with ladder, mounting kit, and window poles — ready to install from crossovers to full-size trucks.
